The ELC reinforces the Council’s objectives, resonating with VSBA’s aim for seamless transitions from ELC to school. Agosta and Associates, as the primary Design Consultant, collaborated intensively with Cardinia Shire Council and the Client.
The design embodies the agricultural region’s legacy, encapsulating resilience, gentleness, and spirit, while highlighting childhood wonder through playful elements, varied structures, and ample natural light.
Spaces like children’s rooms, the foyer, and waiting zones craft a sensory-enriched learning path. The design inspires wonder while offering comfort and assurance to children and families. Classroom windows foster connectivity between onlookers and ongoing activities. The holistic design unites childcare, education, and community in adaptable spaces, championing varied play settings.
